1. Bajaj CT 100B
The Bajaj CT100B is by far the cheapest motorcycle on sale in India right now, priced at Rs 29,998 (ex-showroom Delhi). The CT100B gets a round headlamp and bare-bones design with wire-spoke wheels and powered by a frugal single-cylinder, air-cooled, 99.2 cc engine. The engine makes just over 8 bhp power and 8 Nm of torque, but it stakes claim to be the most fuel-efficient bike in India, with a claimed figure of 99.1 kmpl. The manufacturer claimed fuel efficiency figure is as per tests conducted under standard conditions at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). The CT100 costs Rs 4,000 more and comes with alloy wheels and a small bikini fairing around the headlamp. Needless to say, the CT100 is one of the volumes spinners for Bajaj Auto and sold over 4.5 lakh bikes in the 2016-17 financial year.

2 .Honda CB Unicorn 150
The name Unicorn brings back memories of the motorcycle being the first model in India to be sold with a monoshock at the rear. Times have passed, and the Unicorn has received cosmetic changes to appeal to the modern day commuter. The Honda CB Unicorn comes with a 149cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 13bhp and 12.8Nm of peak torque paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Honda claims a mileage of 60km/l and the Honda CB Unicorn 150 weighs 146kg.
3.Bajaj Discover 100 – 85 KMPL
The smallest member of the Discover family of motorcycles from Bajaj, the Discover 100 is fifth on the list of the most fuel efficient bikes in India with a rated fuel economy of 82.4 KMPL. The bike is powered by a 94.38cc single cylinder engine which produces 7.6 bhp @ 7,500 rpm and 7.85 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. The Discover 100 is one of the better-looking bikes in the 100cc commuter bike segment.
4.Mahindra Centuro – 85.4 KMPL
Centuro was Mahindra‘s flagship bike in 110 CC segment and still continues to be one. It comes packed with a lot of features that gives a little edge to this passenger bike. Centuro gives a mileage figure of 85.4 KMPL. It runs on a 106.7 CC engine that produces 8.5 PS power @7500 RPM and 8.5 Nm torque @ 7500 RPM. Mahindra Centuro is loaded with features like the flip-key with 96-bit secure access, engine immobilizer, Anti-theft alarm, DTE (distance to empty), Find me lamps and LED parking lights.
