1 SARDAR UDHAM – AMAZON PRIME VIDEO
Sardar Udham has been a long time coming among the new Indian movies on Disney+, Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and other platforms this month. The film follows the heroic actions of Indian Revolutionary Udham Singh, who is most known for assassinating British officer Michael O Dwyer in London on April 13, 1919, who was behind the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. The narrative depicts Udham Singh’s vengeance for the 400 persons who perished and over 1000 who were injured on Baisakhi Day.
2 BHRAMAM – AMAZON PRIME VIDEO
Bhramam is the official Malayalam adaptation of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadhun, which sparked a lot of interest among OTT viewers in India and even beyond. It is a Malayalam-language remake that will be released on October 7th and will have comparable thrills and humour.
3 SHIDDAT – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR
Shiddat is already one of the most binge-watched movies on Disney+ Hotstar this month, thanks to the excitement generated by Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan’s on-screen chemistry and offline marketing. The film, directed by Kunal Deshmukh, features two parallel love tales and emphasises the concept that believing in love with all of your heart may help you find it.
4 SANAK – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR
Sanak, directed by Vidyut Jamwal, is yet another magnificent action picture that rates among the best when it comes to high-octane action. It will be available on Disney+ Hotstar instead than in theatres. Sanak is a Kanishk Varma-directed action thriller produced by Zee Studios and Sunshine Pictures. Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia, and Chandan Roy Sanyal appear in the film, which will be available on Disney+ Hotstar alongside Indian programmes and movies.
5 LITTLE THINGS S4 – NETFLIX
In October, Netflix will release the fourth season of Little Things. While this is excellent news for fans, it is also tragic news because this is the show’s final season. Watch how Dhruv and Kavya make the difficult adjustment from youthful love to a more mature relationship after more than six years together. We’ll watch them negotiate concerns of commitment, health, ambition, and family throughout the course of the season, and we’ll see them be as honest and personal with each other as they have been in the past. So sit back and relax as Dhruv and Kavya take you on one more adventure as they conquer major obstacles while appreciating the ‘Little Things.’
6 LIFT – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR
Lift, a Tamil horror film, will be added on Disney+ Hotstar’s Indian programmes and movies later this month. Guru (Kavin) and Harini (Amritha Aiyer) have a routine day at work turned into a nightmare when their haunting workplace captures them. A elevator is the only way out.
7 RASHMI ROCKET – ZEE5
While the other sports film, Maidaan, will be released in theatres in October, the Taapsee Pannu-starrer Rashmi Rocket will be available on Zee5. For this film, Pannu spent a significant amount of time exercising and sculpting her body. Rashmi Rocket depicts the life of a small-town girl who is on her way to becoming one of India’s most famous sportsmen (both metaphorically and practically), but a gender test result stands in her way.
